Welcome to 2nd Rhiwbina Scout Group. 

 

The 2nd Rhiwbina Scout Group is based in the Garden Village area of Rhiwbina, Cardiff.

 

It currently has one Beaver colony, two Cub packs and one Scout group which meet on the following nights:

 

Monday night:            Beavers                                    

  

Tuesday night:           Cubs - White Tiger pack           

 

Thursday night:          Cubs - Jungle pack                   

 

Friday night:               Scouts                                      

 

In addition there are Beavers sleep-overs and Cub and Scout camps.  Summer camps are spent under canvas and a Christmas camp for cubs is spent in dormitory accommodation.

 

To run the many activities we are fortunate to have:

- Experienced and enthusiastic leaders

- A dedicate and hardworking committee

- Supportive parents

 

Parents are expected to assist with activities on a rota basis where possible - usually this one night a term.

 

Note that all leaders and anyone else assisting with activities must be CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) checked before being able to participate.  See the website www.crb.gov.uk for more details.  Note that it is not possible to download CRB forms yet - they can be obtained from and returned to June for the 2nd Rhiwbina Scout group.
